Tips for understanding the IEP/IFSP process
The Family & Educator Partnership (FEP) provides support to both teachers and families so they can more effectively participate in the IEP/IFSP process. This might include explaining the IEP/IFSP process, reviewing procedural safeguards, helping parents organize their thoughts in preparation for a meeting or FEP staff attending a meeting at school. The Family & Educator Partnership also provides information, resources and tools that assist teachers and families in the special education process. Some resources are included here:
