Alphabet Art TAG Challenge

This year, Central Rivers AEA TAG consultants created a menu of challenges for students to complete as a part of their TAG programs, their classroom work, at home, or anywhere where they want to push their thinking and problem-solving.  We love it when the students and teachers share their work with us and we are happy to share this work with you.

Below you will see the submissions (we will add more as they come in!) for the Alphabet Art Challenge.  We can’t wait to see what YOU might submit!!  Make sure you click the image to enlarge it for better viewing!

Here’s what students reporting enjoying the most:

  • The most fun parts of this challenge were going on an outside walking “field trip” to take pictures and looking at the world around us in a completely different way than normal.

Students also shared the most challenging parts of the activity:

  • Certain letters were really tough to find–others seemed to be everywhere. We tried to find all the letters of the alphabet first and then picked a word to challenge ourselves a little more.

What students reported learning through the challenge:

  • We learned a lot about perspective from this challenge and how people can see something in their environment in totally different ways.
