A new year at Central Rivers AEA filled with learning opportunities to attend
This past year and a half brought about unprecedented challenges and triumphs, and our team would like to thank you and wish you a wonderful, relaxing summer! You have all worked so hard and have simply “been there” for your students and their families while doing the same for your own. We learned to appreciate the small things – family, friends, necessities, smiles and to conduct our business in a variety of ways. We learned what was important in our personal lives, the lives of children and in our instruction. During this time, our agency and team have adapted to these changes as well and are looking forward to planning for this fall. We wanted to share some exciting learning opportunities coming in August that encompass the many innovations we have learned. We look forward to serving you and growing along with you!
Central Rivers AEA Virtual Literacy Summit
This one-day Virtual Literacy Summit is designed to provide educators with an opportunity to learn high-impact literacy approaches. This free event will include sessions to engage participants in learning that supports the implementation of research-informed and highly practical strategies for literacy learning. You will leave this summit with new skills, fresh knowledge and the motivation to apply what you have learned…all from the comfort of your home and with access to every session!

Professional Learning
Beginning in August are two, year-long courses aligned with highly effective practices of large-group and small-group instruction. While neither are prerequisites, they are highly aligned and complement the learning of each other. These courses will be facilitated in a synchronous/asynchronous format and allow for flexibility of learning environments that work with your professional and personal situation. The powerful element of this professional learning is the incorporation of personalized coaching with class facilitators.
