University of Iowa’s offers new Educational Leadership program

The University of Iowa Educational Leadership program is requesting that you share some exciting information with potential leadership candidates within your organization. As the educational leader in your district, we are seeking your assistance in identifying individuals whom you feel have leadership potential. Every educator who applies to our Educational Leadership program with a letter of support from their district superintendent or AEA leadership will have the application fee waived for either summer 2021 or fall 2021 admissions.

The University of Iowa is seeking candidates for the second cadre in our Ed.D. program of study, with sub-tracks in K-12 leadership and Higher Education. We are excited about the opportunities that this program can provide for educational leaders across the state. Not only is this a great opportunity for anyone seeking an Ed.D. but it should be of special interest to those school leaders who have already completed an Ed.S. Additional information is available at www.education.uiowa.edu/edd.

In addition, the University of Iowa has 20 $500 scholarships available for MA applicants for the summer and fall terms. Students can qualify for consideration by meeting the April 30th or July 1st deadlines, respectively.

One more update of interest for candidates. The GRE is no longer required for MA applicants and our Ed.S., Ed.D, and Ph.D. programs are GRE – optional for applicants during the 2020-21 academic year.
