Hour of Code Challenge to run December 9-20

In honor of Computer Science Week, Central Rivers AEA will again sponsor the Hour of Code Challenge. This challenge is to see which junior high, middle school or high school building can code the most minutes in a two week period. This year’s challenge will run from December 9th through December 20th. You can find more information, the form to submit coding minutes, and the leaderboard on the Central Rivers AEA coding website.

Students may enter their own minutes or teachers may enter them for them.  If there are questionable totals entered, we will seek verification. Total minutes coded are displayed but the winner is determined by the average of minutes coded per student. This approach is intended to even the playing field between larger and smaller schools.

If you have any questions, please reach out to Michelle Cowell atmcowell@centralriversaea.org. And get those kids coding!
