Wilson Reading System® Training (Section # 179902) offered in September

CRAEA will be a host site for training of the Wilson Reading System®. This program is an intensive Tier 3 program for students in grades 2-12 with word-level deficits who are not making sufficient progress through their current intervention; have been unable to learn with other teaching strategies and require multi-sensory language instruction; or who require more intensive structured literacy instruction due to a language-based learning disability, such as dyslexia.

The three day training will take place on September 11-13, 2019 at the Cedar Falls office. Cost is $580 per participant. This learning opportunity runs from 8:30 am – 3:30 pm with lunch provided onsite.

In addition to the training cost, districts will need to purchase the Introductory Set (4th Edition). This set includes one set of student materials. If working in a group setting, each student requires his/her own materials which would be purchased separately. More information about the cost of materials and the program can be found at this website. These materials are not required to attend the workshop.
