Update on Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP)
In the spring of 2019, our state will be administering the newly developed Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP). District leaders and assessment coordinators are encouraged to frequently check the ISASP Portal to stay up to date on technology setup, manuals, trainings and test preparation materials. Recently, the Test Administrator Manual and Accessibility and Accommodations Manual were made available on this site. These manuals will be important tools as educators plan for general test administration and make decisions regarding individual student test accommodation and accessibility issues.
Test Administrator Manual – Provides instructions necessary for the computer-based and paper-based administration of the ISASP, as well as tasks for the Test Administrator to follow before, during, and after test administration. The manual also contains the protocols that Test Administrators and Proctors must follow related to test security and test administration.
Accessibility and Accommodations Manual – Provides guidelines for how to select, administer, and evaluate the use of accessibility supports and accommodations for instructions and assessment for all students.
