Leading Student Centered Coaching Webinar Series
We are proud to offer a second round of a webinar series and book study based on the book, Leading Student-Centered Coaching: Building Principal and Coach Partnerships (Corwin). We have found that in many districts, there is a lack of support to principals regarding how to lead a coaching effort. This may be due to the fact that we haven’t paid much attention to supporting principals through the rapid expansion of instructional coaching. Or it could be the result of school leaders being pulled in so many different directions on a daily basis. When principals lack strategies for leading a coaching effort, they will encounter significant barriers to reaching their goal of positively impacting teaching and learning.
Throughout this webinar series, we will tackle the tough issues that are associated with integrating coaching into a school. In this way participants will be provided with strategies for ensuring that coaching is getting the desired results.
This webinar series will include eight, 75 minute sessions. Sessions will be recorded so that participants can join live or listen later. Leading Student-Centered Coaching will be a required text as it will be used throughout the webinar series.
