DE now offering endorsement waivers for existing computer science teachers

The Iowa Department of Education is now offering endorsement waivers for existing computer science teachers. Teachers must have taught computer science for two years in order to apply for the waiver.  The deadline for applying for the waiver is March 21st. Here is the online application.  

Teachers that don’t meet the waiver requirements can find the requirements for the endorsement itself on the Iowa Department of Education website. Here is the link for information about the course requirements for the endorsement.
