Tiered Algebra 2018-2019

Tuesday, May 1, will be an introduction for those interested in implementing the Tiered Algebra structure during the 2018-2019 school year. This workshop will be held in Cedar Falls at Central Rivers AEA from 9:00 – 3:00. The day will include an overview of the program’s expectations, an introduction to the Transition to Algebra curriculum, Growth Mindset, and AAIMS Progress Monitoring probes. Participants from this year’s Tiered Algebra cohort will be available for questions.

It is important that all those making decisions (scheduling, student placement, teaching assignments, curriculum decisions, etc.) about implementing the Tiered Algebra structure are in attendance on May 1. Attending does not mean you are committed to implementing Tiered Algebra during the next school year.
